Jolly Pumpkin – La Parcela

Bottled 8-24-11, enjoyed 10-16-11. Served in a snifter.

APPEARANCE

This beer is a lovely golden orange color and hazy as hell. It looks sort of like a typical pumpkin ale with a good dose of wheat beer-like haze, which I am assuming is thanks to to remaining yeast in the bottle. The head was around 2 fingers at first, then fell to a pinky that remained throughout tasting. The bubbles were tiny which created a soft pillow-like appearance. [Read more...]
